Dublin, CADublin is a city located in Alameda County, California, United States. It is located 35 miles east of San Francisco, and 23 miles southeast of Oakland. Dublin has a population of 72,589 according to the 2020 United States Census, making it the 82nd largest city in California by population.

History

Dublin has a rich history dating back to the early 1800s when it was part of the Rancho San Ramon land grant. The city’s name originates from the city of Dublin in Ireland, and many of its street names are named after Irish cities and regions. In the 1960s, Dublin was largely a rural area, but it has since transformed into a thriving suburban community with a diverse economy and numerous amenities.
