Toothbrushing Tips
- Brush for 2 minutes. Set a timer if your toothbrush does not have one.
- Angle your brush at a 45 degree angle towards your gums. Nearly all plaque builds up along the gumline and in between teeth.
- Use a fluoridated toothpaste and do not rinse after you spit out the excess. The longer the toothpaste sits on your teeth, the better!

- It is not physically touching the tooth so it may leave behind some sticky plaque
Proxy Brushes

- Comes in different sizes
- Great for larger spaces between teeth.
- Cleans black triangle spaces

- Does not remove plaque where the tooth meets the gum, because they clean below that contact point
